Learning Japanese is fun at JLS !
Applies to all courses:
•Once in a week for 10 weeks
•90 min. a lesson (with or without a break)
In a Beginners class ( A1 - A3 ) students will learn:
•all 3 different types of Japanese characters ( Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji).
•how to greet people
•basic conversation for daily life in Japan.
•how to express one’s wish and troubles in a very simple way.
•how to order food & drinks at a restaurant.
•Japanese culture and etiquette in general.

In Intermediate and upper intermediate classes ( B1 - B3 )students will be able to:
•read and write up to about 1000 Kanjis(B1-2) / 1500 (B3)
•follow casual conversation in Japanese.
•discuss and debate with simple expressions.
•enjoy TV dramas and films in Japanese relatively well.
•read short stories, essays and comics in Japanese.
•write letters and e-mails in Japanese.
•organize trips, book hotels, restaurants and order goods by internet in Japanese.

In an advanced class (C1 - C3 ) students will be able to:
•follow news and most TV programs in Japanese.
•read and write academic and business reports, literature in Japanese.
•debate in Japanese on various topics.
•manage conversation with correct “keigo” (honorific term).
New!! Special Japanese course for half-Japanese
This course is especially arranged for the half-Japanese who can speak Japanese but have little confidence in reading and writing. Students will learn Japanese writing from the basic Hiragana and Katakana, and gradually modify their Japanese to the level which is suitable for academic and business use.
